Cologne based SETYOURSAILS doesn’t write songs for the comfortable. The band constructs heavy music as a sanctuary for the misfits, the sidelined, and anyone who feels like an outsider in a world obsessed with conformity.

Rather than leaning on overt political slogans, SETYOURSAILS leads with radical empathy and defiance. They stand unreservedly for the LGBTQ+ community, anti-fascist values, and the collective strength of the underdogs, communicated not through lectures, but through shared catharsis, inclusive spaces, and an unwavering refusal to back down.
That mindset reaches its peak when the lights go down.

A SETYOURSAILS live show is an intense, high-octane spectacle designed to turn raw aggression into collective healing. In the pit, boundary-pushing heaviness meets absolute safe-haven energy: a high-friction space where you can lose your control, find your community, and scream off the weight of the world.

Off-stage, the band keeps it grounded with self-aware, lighthearted authenticity—proving that standing up for something real doesn't mean losing your sense of joy. SETYOURSAILS isn't just playing heavy music, they’re building a sanctuary where everyone gets a voice, and nobody has to walk through the wreckage alone.
